CFTH Challenge 12 DT

Hi everyone,

I hope the weather is treating you nicely.  Today it is raining here in Perth, it's been a while since we have seen good rain.  It's lovely now but I prefer it warm so I will be groaning soon.

Today's card is for this week's challenge at Crafting From The Heart.  As well as our usual Anything Goes you can use the optional theme of Cute and Cuddly.  I have used a Patties Creations image for my card and I have kept it pretty clean and simple.

Totally Papercrafts 212 DT

Hi,

This weeks challenge at Totally Papercrafts is Think Pink and we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. I have used a cute Bugaboo image to make the first of this years Mother's Day cards which we celebrate in May here in Australia.

Here it is;

I didn't want a completely pink card but I am pretty sure there is enough pink on there. I have coloured her with Promarkers and I have used Echo Park So Happy Together papers. The flowers are from Aliexpress, the dies are from Crealies and the border punch is from American Crafts.

Penny's Challenge 170 DT

Hello there,

Another busy week for me.  I hope you got some crafting in, I did, I started lots but didn't finish a lot.  I will though, I am determined.  Today I have my DT card to share for you for the current challenge over at Penny's.  This week you get to choose your favourite colour combo.  I of course chose yellow with turquoise.  I love any combo that has yellow in it.  This week I got to use another fun stamp from the talented Kathryne from Stamp Art Design.

This beautiful girl is Lizzie, isn't she adorable.  I coloured her with Promarkers and I have used Echo Park Splash papers.  If you haven't worked it out yet I have a small obsession with Echo Park Paper Company.  Very few embellishments this time, she is so pretty she doesn't need anything else.

Penny's Challenge 169 DT

Hi there,

I have just sat down from a whirlwind day, all over the place.  It's nice to just stop and relaxxxx.  Today I have for you my DT card for Challenge 169 at Penny's which is Buttons and Bow's. There is so much you can do with this theme.  Head on over to the challenge blog and check out what the rest of the DT have created, you will love it.

I got to use a super cute Meljen image, here she is;

I loved colouring up this cutey, I love the expression on her face.  I have coloured her with Promarkers and I have used my trusty Echo Park (For the Record 2) papers. The dies are from Bosskut and the cute little sentiment is from Hot Off The Press.  The buttons and ribbons are from my stash.  Of course I have finished it off with Stickles Diamond and some gems.

CFTH Challenge 10 DT

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend full of crafting and family fun. This week at Crafting From The Heart we have a great theme for you.  We have our usual Anything Goes but if you are up for a challenge how about going for our Movie theme.  I am using a Sassy Studio image called Smurfette honey so I am sure you can guess my movie theme.

Here is my card;

 

I made this card for my daughter as it was her 9th birthday last Friday.  She is a big Smurfette fan so when I saw this digi I thought of her straight away.

Reach for the Stars

Hi,

I finally managed a non-DT card. The kids had a birthday party to go to yesterday for one of their little volleyball friends.  They had a great time and my son has not stopped playing pirates as he won a sword in a party game. He is so cute. My card today was made for their little friend Noah.

Here it is;

The image I used is a cute one from Tiddly Inks and I have used. A lot of green to fit in with their challenge this month. The papers I think were just from the local discount store. They seemed to fit so well with the image. I have coloured him with Promarkers and sparkled it up with some Crystal Stickles.

Totally Papercrafts 210 DT

Hi folks,

This week's challenge at Totally Papercrafts is Shaped Cards. Our wonderful sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiment Designs. I chose a lovely image to use, it is called Little Friends. It reminded me of sitting outside on a beautiful day with the breeze in my hair, just enjoying the world. I am such a square card kind of girl, but this challenge gave me an excuse to use some of my bigger dies so I really enjoyed it.

Here it is;

I have used Mpress nesting dies to create the beautiful shapes and cut around it to make the card base. The papers are Echo Park Sweet Day Collection and the image is coloured with Promarkers. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the swirl dies are by Crealies. I added flowers, ladybugs and butterflies, topped off with Stickles and some Gems.

Hi everyone,

How are you today?  I hope you have had an interesting day.  Today I have my card for this week's challenge at Penny's which is Anything but Square.  This was tough for me as I do love my square cards.  I had a fun image to work with this week so that influenced the shape of my card.

Here it is;

The image is by Penny Blossom which I have coloured with my Promarkers.  I used various nesting dies to try to create the look of ice-cream.  The design paper is by Heidi Grace which I picked up on my trip to the U.S. last year and must have forgotten about until now. I am pretty pleased with them so I am sure you will see more of them soon.

Hi everyone,
