Crafting At The Weekend Challenge 3

Hi everyone,

Yay it's the weekend! I love the weekend. Both the kids have sport to watch/coach, I get to have family time and then some crafty time. I have just dropped the kids off at Nana's and now the house is blissful so I can CRAFT.

Anyway enough about me, that's not why you are here. Today's project is an altered box using the cute stamp Harriet by Crafty Sentiments, our very kind sponsor this month. This months theme at CATW is as always Anything Goes. We would particularly love to see all those non cardy things you make for this challenge.

Here is my project;

I hope you will join us this month.

Penny's Challenge 183

Hi there,

The sun was shining today, yay, but boy the mornings are chilly. I am not a winter girl!
Today's card is for this week's fun challenge at Penny's using the theme 'Embossing - Heat or Dry'. I am loving embossing lately, especially heat embossing onto vellum. I got to use an awesome Sassy Studio Design's image and some lovely papers from Echo Park.

Here it is;

I have used both types of embossing for my card I couldn't choose. I hope you like it.  Don't forget to stop by Penny's to check out the rest of the DT's work.

See you soon, Nic.

Penny's Challenge 182 DT

Hi everyone,

What a wet, wintery couple of days we have had. It is definitely snuggle up inside weather. Perfect for a bit of colouring.  Today's card is for the current challenge at Penny's. the theme this week is 'Use your favourite embellishments'.  I cannot make a card without either rhinestones or pearls so I decided that I had to bling up my card this week with some lovely rhinestones.

Here it is;

I have used a 'Eureka' image this week and I have finally used some Washi tape. I love the stuff but I barely use it.  I don't usually like to use a whole strip of stones but I felt a need for it this week.

Thanks for dropping by. I would love it if you dropped by Penny's to check out what the rest of the team have created.

Cheers Nicole

Penny's Challenge 181 DT

Hi there,

Brrr it is getting cold here. I am so jealous of those of you who are getting some Summer Sun right now. At least when it is rotten outside the craft table is always welcoming.

Today's card is for this weeks challenge over at Penny's. It's a great one this week, your favourite, Anything Goes. This week's sponsors is Pink Gem Designs and I got to work with the sweetest image.

Here she is;

I hope you like my card and it inspires you to create. I would love to come visit.

Crafting From The Heart Challenge 22 DT

Hi,

I have a cute Lacy Sunshine card for you today as my make for this week's CFTH Challenge.  Lacy Sunshine images are the cutest, have you checked them out yet?

Here is my make for this week;
Her name is Emmilou Boo.  I just love the Boo's.  I have used my new Copic's this time.  I tried for so long to resist buying them but now I am hooked.  I also bought some new SN pencil's and I have used them for the background.  Not a bad effort I think.

This week's lovely sponsors are;
Papernest Dolls
offering a prize of $25 voucher
The Paper Nest Dolls

Sassy Studio Designs
offering a prize of 4 digi images
Sassy Studio Designs

Penny's Challenge 180

Hi there,

I have been so busy this week that I nearly forgot to post my card for this week's challenge at Penny's. Too many things going on in this busy brain of mine. This week's challenge is bears or mice and I got the cutest little image to work with. I used this card for a good friend for her baby shower. I thought the sentiment 'wishing you a world full of joy' was quite fitting.

Here it is;

I hope you like my card and it inspires you to get crafting. For more inspiration don't forget to visit the Penny's challenge blog to see the rest of the teams creations.

Cheers Nic
