Penny's Challenge 201

Hi folks,

How are you? I hope life is treating you well. We have a great challenge for you this week at Penny's, another Anything Goes. Yay, so simple. I have used a great Bugaboo image this week which was so fun to colour. There is something about these images that makes me want to do Clean and Simple (my version anyway) and I am starting to think that I am getting the hang of it.

Here it is;
I hope you like my card this week, I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Hopefully you have been inspired to get crafting and enter our challenge this week.

Thanks for stopping by.

Penny's Challenge 200

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well and enjoying life.  Today I am sharing a card made with another gorgeous image from Stampart Design by Kathryn, her name is Mermaid Pearl.  I just had to use her this week because our theme at Penny's is Polka Dots and Pearls.

Here she is;

I hope you like her.  She was fun to colour, although I did have a problem with sticky markers.  I have kept her quite simple this week so it was super easy to make.

Thanks for dropping by today.
Cheers Nicole

Inky Impressions Challenge 182

Hi again,

I am here today to share another make for you using a deliciously fab image from Inky Impressions.  This weeks challenge is 'Check Mate' (interpret it however you feel, but if you are unsure leave us a note in your link up) and I used Maddie Spreading the Love.  Isn't she so fun?

Here she is;

I have used some gorgeous papers from the Echo Park Sweet Day pad and I decided to use them to make a checkerboard pattern as well as use checked paper.  This was really fun and easy to do and I think the result is quite effective.  She has been coloured with Copic's (please excuse the sticky marker, ugh) and finished off  with some Wink of Stella to all of the hearts.

I hope you like my project this week.  If you are looking for some more inspiration, why not check out what the other ladies came up with on the challenge blog.

Thanks for dropping by.

Penny's Challenge 199

Hi again,

Two posts for me today.  This time I have my card for you for this weeks challenge at Penny's.  This week we have Lacy Sunshine as our sponsor again (so generous) and that means that we have another Anything Goes theme, yay.  I chose a Christmas image this time called Mary Boo Candy Cane, she is so cute.

Here is my card;

Another one to add to my Christmas card collection, slowly getting there.  I have used American Crafts Merrymint papers and I have coloured her with my Promarkers for a change (the skin is Copic's though).  I have used minimal embellishments as I am thinking of doing a big batch of these.

Thanks for visiting today, I really appreciate it.  Don't forget to check out the other great makes from the rest of the Penny's girls over on the blog.

Cheers Nicole

Inky Impressions October Release

Hi folks,

Phew what a hot one we have had today.  Only October and the temperature hit 35.C.  I love Summer but this was a real smack of heat before I could prepare.

Well... back to why you are here.  Today I have a card to share with you using a super cute image from the October release at Inky Impressions.  Nicole's images are wonderful and she has some gorgeous ones for you this month.  Today I have used Fairy Lili with Snow Globe and you can find her here.  As soon as I saw her I wanted to colour her in blue or turquoise and I thought that using white with it would go with the snow in the globe.  My plan was for this to be a Christmas card but I think it could be used for a number of occasions.

Anyway, here it is;

I hope you like her, I think she is quite sweet.  I would love for you to check out the rest of the teams makes for this new release.  There are some great creations with the other images that Nicole has released this month.  Don't forget that if you leave a comment on the Challenge blog for this release you can win an image and sentiment from this release.

Thanks for dropping by.

Crafting From The Heart Challenge 40

Hi there,

What glorious weather we are having at the moment.  I love the warmer weather and that is what has inspired my latest card.  My card for this week's challenge at CFTH is using a gorgeous digi from Delicious Doodles called Sunshine Gal.  This image is so fun and a treat to colour.

Here it is;

The papers are from the Echo Park Paradise Beach pad and I have coloured her with Copic's.  The little flowers are a combination of an Elizabeth Crafts die and a My Favourite Things die which I then coloured to look like the stamens in the image.  I finished it off with a Some Odd Girl sentiment that I stamped in blue then clear heat embossed to make it shiny.

I hope you will have a lovely week filled with crafty goodness.

Inky Impressions Challenge 180

Hi everyone,

How are you? Today I get to share with you a card featuring a super cute Inky Impressions stamp called 'Tree Stump Fairy'.  She was so fun to colour and I think she would suit many different styles and themes.  This weeks theme at Inky Impressions is 'Flowers and Leaves' which is a perfect theme for this time of the year. For most of you it is Autumn or Fall but for me it is Spring and this theme makes me want to get outside to enjoy the lovely Spring flowers.

Here is my card;

I have used some beautiful DCWV papers from the Citrus stack and I have coloured her with my Copic's.  Just a couple of embellishments this time as the image is so lovely that I didn't want to over power it.

I hope you like my card this week and I would love to see you enter this weeks challenge.

Penny's Challenge 179

Hi folks,

I hope you are all well. My kids are in the middle of their school holidays at the moment so we have been busy, busy. I still managed to fit in some crafting this week though and I whipped up this little Halloween style card. I loved this image but then I couldn't quite work out what to do so I approached my hubby and unbelievably he came up with an idea.

Here is how it turned out;
I kept thinking of kids going to this ladies door and calling 'Trick or Treat'. What would you choose?

This weeks theme at Penny's is 3 or more patterned papers. My card is pretty simple this week as I really wanted to show off the awesome Dr Digi image, so I have used one main paper and then just added the extra papers as the embellishments, easy.

I hope you will join us this week, I would love to check out your work.
Cheers Nicole
