Hi folks,

I have another cute Lacy Sunshine card for you today for this weeks challenge at CFTH. Her name is Apple Cider Sticky Wings, I picked her up as a freebie from the Lacy Sunshine Facebook page but you can now get her in store. I have teamed her up with some papers from Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine. They think they are a perfect match.

Here it is;
I hope you are finding plenty of time for crafting and that you manage to join us this week, I would so love to come see what you have been up to.

Happy crafting everyone.

Inky Impressions Challenge 178

Hi again,

Yay, this week I had another play with an Inky image. I thought I would change it up a bit this week so I decided to use a sentiment as my focal point for my creation. When I saw this sentiment it made me think of a gift card, so I made a gift card holder. You can find it here. I hope you like it.

Here it is;

This was so fun to make. I used some of my scraps and just one piece of 6x6 double sided design paper. So I am stoked as I have soooo many scraps.

I hope I have inspired you to get creating. No excuses because guess what? It's Anything Goes this week, yay.

Thanks for dropping by.

Penny's Challenge 196

Hi there,

Thanks for dropping by. Today I have a Christmas card for you. Yay one more to add to my very small collection (whoops). I have used a Fred She Said image and this card is for my sister in-law who has just gotten a puppy so I chose this image for her. The theme for this week is 'Spots and Stripes' and we want to see both. Simple folks, no excuses for not entering.

Here is my card;
I love this image and I especially love the sentiment that came with it. My card is fairly simple this week, I plan to make a few more of these to add to my collection, so hopefully you will see more soon. I hope your Chrissy card making is off to a good start too.

Happy crafting

Penny's Challenge 195

Hi everyone,

Spring has sprung here in Perth and my mood lately is sooo good. I love the warmer weather. I get so much more done when I am happy so I have done housework and crafting this week. What an accomplishment.

Today's card is for this weeks challenge at Penny's. We have a fab new sponsor this week, Karleigh Sue. I came across her on Facebook recently and I love her work. This weeks theme is embossing-wet or dry.

Here is my card;
A super quick and easy new baby card for me this week. I love using my embossing folders but I do neglect them so I had fun making this card. I hope you like it.

Thanks for popping by, I hope to see you soon.

Crafting From The Heart Challenge 36

Hi again,

Thanks for dropping by, I hope you are doing well. Today's card is for the current challenge at CFTH. We have our usual anything goes so I am sure we will be seeing you. I have made a cute CAS card for you this week. I love this style and I think I am getting the hang of it. CAS style cards really show off the image and can really pop when coloured well. I have been doing Alyce Keegan's online classes at Kit and Clowder and I think I can see a difference in my colouring skills, I highly recommend them.

Anyway... Here is my card;
I am loving this hair colour combo, it is one of Alyce's and I love yellow and purple together. I have a young lady in mind for this card as I think it looks just like her.

I hope you will enter this weeks challenge so I can drop on by your blog. I would love it you left a comment so I can come visit you, I love finding new blogs to follow.
Cheers Nicole

Inky Impressions Fall Release

Hi crafters,

Today I have a special card for you. It is for the new 'Fall' release at Inky Impressions. Where I live we call it Autumn but to be honest it doesn't have the same ring to it. I have used some vibrant Autumn colours for my card which feels kind of strange as the weather here is just starting to warm up as it is Spring down here.

I hope you like what I have created with this super cute image called 'Sunflower Kitty'. There are plenty more new release images in store that I know you will love. If you would like to see what you the Inkette's have done with them pop over to the challenge blog, leave a comment and you may win an image and sentiment.

Here is my card;

These are not my normal colours but I really love how this turned out. I have used a gorgeous paper pad by DCWV called 'Green Stack' and I have coloured with my Copic's and a few Promarkers to fill in the gaps in my collection. I added some flowers and stamens from Aliexpress and some pretty lace from Joanna Sheen. The sentiment is also part of the new release and I know I will be using it again and again.

Thanks for dropping by, let me know what you think.
Cheers Nicole

She is so pretty and lovely to colour. I hope you like her. This weeks theme is ABC's. you can interpret this in many ways. I haves used the letters ie A-apple, B-butterfly, C-clouds. My other teamies have used some great images and given it a school twist. You can interpret how you like, but please let us know.

Here is my card;

This image was just crying out to be teamed up with these gorgeous Echo Park papers from the 'A Walk in the Park' paper pad. I just love these papers so much but I am going to be on rations soon.

Pennys Challenge 193

Hi there,

This week at Penny's we have another Anything Goes Challenge for you sponsored by the very generous Lacy Sunshine.  I remember that my first card on this team was using a Lacy Sunshine card and I loved the images then and I still love them just as much now.  Todays card is using the beautiful mermaid image called Ebony.

Here she is;

I went for a bit of a darker colour scheme this time and I think it worked quite well. I have coloured her with Copic's and the papers are Echo Park Paradise Beach. I hope you like her and you are inspired to get crafting.

Thanks for dropping by today, happy crafting.

Inky Impressions September School Release

Hi everyone,

I am very excited to tell you that I am now part of the awesome Design Team at Inky Impressions.  The images are adorable and so lovely to colour.  Today is the release of the new School images and they are so cute.  Today I have used 'Teachers Pet Christopher' with the 'Best Teacher' sentiment.

Here he is;

I have used a cute paper pad by Echo Park called Paper and Glue which is perfect for this image.  As I live in Australia my kids are halfway through their school year so I chose to make a teacher appreciation card for my son's teacher.  I think she will love it.  It looks a bit like him only my boy has a mop of curls.  It still looks sweet like him though.

There are some more wonderful images to go with this release so I would love for you to check them out here.

I wish to enter the following challenges;
