Crafting at the Weekend Challenge 2

Hi folks,

What a busy week I have had.  I have been so busy with work, kid's, school, sport and of course craft.  I was so excited to receive my new Copic's in the post the other day so I finally got to work on my project for this month's challenge at CATW.  I also was a very lovely daughter the other day and took my mum to the Craft and Quilt Fair, although I think I got more than she did.  I managed to pick up a few bargains so I got to use them in this project too, as well as some lovely goodies I won from the generous Lucy at Flourish with a Bling.  Ooh I love crafting with new fancy supplies.

For my project this month I have used a sponsor image from Nikki Burnette called Lissa.  She has some really beautiful work, you should check it out.  I have decorated an 8 x 8 inch canvas to put on the wall or perhaps a door.

Here is my project;
Image coloured with Copic's and Promarkers
Paper's are Kaisercraft Porcelain Rose
Cheery Lynn Butterfly dies
Large pink flower and Rhinestone flourish
from Flourish with a Bling
Flowers and Stamens from Aliexpress
Frosted Lace Stickles

Today's card is for Challenge 178 at Penny's.  The theme this week is Spot and/or Stripes.  This week I have used a Stamp Art Design stamp called Gopher It.  I love play on words sentiments so I think this is why I was drawn to this image.

Here it is;

and
Prize - 3 digi sets of winners choice

Thanks for dropping by today.  I would love for you to drop by the challenge blog and check out the other gorgeous creations from the design team.  Hope to see you soon.

Penny's Challenge 177

Hi, welcome to my DT project for Penny's Challenge 177,

For today's card I bring you a cutie from Lacy Sunshine Stamps called Butterfly Buttercup Buggmee and I am sure you will agree that she is just lovely.  She is super fun and easy to work with.  if you haven't guessed yet, our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine and the theme is anything goes, Yay!

Here she is;

The pretty papers I used are from a Quick Cards freebie called Vintage Blooms by Jennifer Ellory.  I have coloured her with Promarkers and Copic's.  I tried a new technique to me by silver embossing the sentiment on to vellum and then attaching it directly to the card.  I am quite happy with this as I hate covering up beautiful papers.  I finished it off with a pretty bow and of course some butterflies.

I hope you like it.

I wish to enter the following challenges;
Just Inspirational Challenges - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Pretty Pastels
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Lacy Sunshine - Anything Goes
Scribble and Scrap - Anything Goes
Crafty Girls - Anything Goes
Cheers Nic

Penny's Challenge 176

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying your Northern Hemisphere weather. Here in Australia it is pouring with rain and its getting cold. Boo hoo I love Summer. Anyway at least when it rains I can craft.

My card this week is for Challenge 176 at Penny's which is 2 or more papers. I have used a cute Bugaboo image this week and I have teamed it up with Echo Park Splash papers. I splurged out recently and bought a new stamp set from Whimsy stamps called Happy, Hello and a matching die. I just had to have it and I am so glad I did, it is the best.

Here is my card;

I hope you will come and join us this week so I can come and see what you create. Thanks for dropping by.
Cheers Nicole
