Penny's Challenge 175 DT

Hi there,

How are you all? I hope you are well.  Today I am sharing my DT make for Challenge 175 at Penny's.  This week's theme is Pastel and I got to use a sexy image from Sassy Studio design's called Sassy Cupid.

Here she is;

I have coloured her with my Promarkers and I have used Echo Park Love Story papers.  The sentiment is from LOTV and the edger punch is by American Crafts.  I have used the little left over love hearts from the punched strip to decorate the middle panel and then they were decorated with crystal stickles.

This week's sponsors are;

Prize - 5 Digi images of winners choice

Prize - 4 Digi images of winners choice

I hope you like this Sassy design.  I don't think this card is for anyone but my husband, they might get the wrong idea.  I might save it as a just because card.  I hope to see what you create soon.

Cheers Nicole

Crafting at the Weekend Challenge 1 DT

Hi everyone,

I am very excited to be sharing with you my make for the very first challenge at Crafting at the Weekend.  The lovely ladies Erin and Fiona have done it again.  They have created a new blog for you to share your crafty makes.  This one, you will notice is for all of those other paper crafty things you do that might not fit into most challenge categories.  We challenge you to think outside of the box.  In saying that, we would still like to see your more conventional makes too.

For my project this month I decided to use my poor, neglected dies.  I tend to make smaller cards so I really wanted to use my bigger dies.  Here is my make;

This year I have also challenged myself to use my stash, so this make I have used a base cardstock that was sitting in my stash for a long time and the other colours were from larger scraps from my rather large scrap box.  I am quite pleased with how they turned out.

We have some awesome sponsors this month, they are;
Cutting Café
The Cutting Cafe

Prize shop voucher

Ditzie Crafts

Prize 3 Images

Prize 2 images

I am really looking forward to seeing what you come up with.  Happy crafting!

Penny's Challenge 173 DT

Hi folks,

Today I am sharing with you my card for this week's challenge at Penny's.  This week is an interesting theme and I would love to see your take on it.  The theme is 'Ice cream colours".  My kid's helped me to choose my colours this week.  They love mint choc chip ice cream and so do I so it was a natural choice.  I of course then had to make something for one of them with it as they helped with the inspiration.

Here it is;

This is meant to go on the wall in the entrance to our house for my daughter to hang her school bag below it.  The image is from Robyn's Fetish and I have coloured it in with Promarkers.  The paper is from The Echo Park Everyday Eclectic pad and the lettering was cut out using a Bosskut alphabet die.

This week's sponsors are;
Shop - http://robynsfetish.com/
Prize - 3 digi images of winners choice

Shop - http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/
Prize - $10 to use from the following artists

CFTH Challenge 14 DT

Hi everyone,

What a beautiful day it is here, I hope yours is as nice.  The kid's just started their school holiday's so we are having a relaxing day at home watching movies and playing with Lego.  I have managed to fit in some crafting and watching some Youtube tutorials.  I find them refreshing and inspiring and helps me get my craft on.

Whoop's, too much rambling, must get to today's card.  This week at Crafting From The Heart we have our usual Anything Goes but we also have an optional theme of Use Yellow.  I love yellow so of course there is plenty on my card.  This week I chose an image from Eureka Stamps called Tulip and Pansy Frame and it was so nice to colour, they are 2 of my favourite flowers.

Here it is;

I am quite pleased with how this turned out, although the embossed panel is much more purple in real life.  I wanted to keep it quite simple as the image is just so beautiful.

This week's sponsors are;                          Scribble & Scrap
Offering a £15 voucher
and
Eureka Stamps
Offering 5 digi images

I hope you like my card and that you will head over to the blog to check out the rest of the team's makes.

The challenges I am entering are;
TBA

Totally Papercrafts Final DT Post

Hi everyone,

This is my final card for the Totally Papercrafts Challenge Blog as they will sadly be closing. I have not been with these ladies long but I have enjoyed my time with them. I wish them all well for the future.

This week's challenge is an Easter challenge. I have used Bart Bunny from Robyn's Fetish, with of course Echo Park papers. He is coloured with Promarkers and I have used one of my many Bosskut dies to finish it off.

Here it is;

I hope you will come and join us for our last 2 challenges.

Cheers Nicole

Penny's Challenge 172 DT

Hi everyone,

Today I have for you my card for the current challenge at Penny's. This week's challenge is 'Flower Power' and it is sponsored by Lacy Sunshine.  I chose Hippie Chick for my card as I have taken the theme quite literally as you will see.

Here she is;

Everything I have used is from my stash.  The papers are so old I have no idea what they are.  I am doing really well with not buying anything new, I have barely bought anything all year.  I am planning on making a real dent in my stash this year.

Head over to the blog and check out what the rest of the team have done, you will love them.  Then I want to come see what you create. Happy crafting!

Cheers Nicole
